Mais um grande hype em torno deste rapaz, que adivinhem ....chega-nos da Austrália via U.S.A.
Sparro é filho de um dos mais prestigiados cantor de gospel australiano, Chris Faison, neto de um trompetista que chegou a tocar com Frank Sinatra e Sammy Davis Jr. e bisneto de um construtor de guitarras, cresceu em Sydney, seguiu o pai para os EUA e pelas suas digressões britânicas, teve a sua escola musical a cantar em igrejas. Mais tarde, e antes do sucesso de "Black and Gold", Sam fazia sucesso em séries de tv.
E reparem, ele diz o seguinte:
“Sou apenas um gajo que gosta de cantar e de vestir roupas engraçadas, que quer dar uma gargalhada e fazer com que toda a gente se ria também". “Quero que a minha música tire um pouco as pessoas da sua vida e as faça sentirem-se felizes e que são mais do que aquilo que pensam que são, o que quer que isso seja.
